Château d’Aussières

Château d’Aussières is an estate of Baron Rothschild located on the southern French coast, in Languedoc, in particular in the hilly area of ​​Corbiéres. Mostly black grape varieties are grown and the most common wines of the appellation are a blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache, although the most characteristic grape of the area is Carignan.
Rothschild acquired the Aussières estate in 1999 and restored the 199 hectares of vineyards with the vines of the area and with part of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay. Rothschild has also built a new winemaking cellar, modern and equipped with the most advanced equipment.
