Bellavista is considered one of the leading wineries in Franciacorta. It was founded by Vittorio Moretti in 1997 on the Bellavista hill in Erbusco and from here it took its name. Vittorio Moretti has been able to buy vineyards in strategic locations in Franciacorta up to over 200 hectares in total divided into over 100 vineyards scattered in 10 different municipalities.
Bellavista pursues total quality and for this reason it takes particular care of the vineyards, conducted with certified organic farming. The harvests and vinifications are separate, resulting in a large number of base wines to be used in the study of the cuvées.
Bellavista has equipped itself with traditional presses such as those used in Champagne capable of acting delicately on the grapes and producing pure musts. The base wines ferment partly in steel and partly in wood.
Furthermore, the collaboration with the oenologist Mattia Vezzola was fundamental for Bellavista; he became an integral part of the company and made a fundamental contribution in creating the style of Bellavista, a style made of opulence and craftsmanship.
