Toscana Bianco da uve leggermente appassite 2022
This white wine from the Duca di Saragnano line is produced using the drying technique. This means that the grapes are slightly dried before being pressed and fermented. This drying process (Appassimento) determines a concentration of aromatic compounds, organic acids, phenols and sugars due to the evaporation of part of the water in the berries. Consequently, the resulting wine will be a wine with a full body, pronounced aromas and a rounded taste. The use of a blend of local and international grape varieties increases the complexity of the bouquet. The white wine from slightly dried grapes of Duca di Saragnano is a modern Tuscan white, suitable to satisfy every palate and every occasion.
After the harvest the grapes are left to dry. The bunches are pressed and the free-run must without skins is fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine matures in steel until bottling.
