Vermentino Belvento 2021
Petra’s Belvento line includes wines produced with the most typical vine varieties of the coast of Tuscany; they are processed with a simple wine making in order to reveal the sincerest character of the coastal wine region of Tuscany. The vineyards cultivated with Vermentino are located in Val di Cornia where soils are mainly made of clay and sand; these are ideal conditions for Vermentino to convey a precise Mediterranean personality.
The free-run must ferments in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature. After alcoholic fermentation the wine ages for at least 3 months in the bottle.
Features
Colour: straw yellow with greenish rim.
perfume: broom, iodine, yellow plum, fresh oregano.
Taste: supple, savory, invigorating.
Suggestions
Serve it in medium-sized glasses. As a pairing suggestion we recommend a bruschetta with smoked mozzarella cheese and anchovy fillets.
Recommended with: sushi and raw fish, vegetarian dishes, fish.
