Vermentino born in the Maremma Toscana DOC area. It is the latest white creation from Tenuta Fertuna, which wanted to valorise this grape variety strongly linked to the Maremma territory.
Vermentino 2022 is a wine with a good structure, marked acidity and a warm, complex aromatic expression.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for about 20 days, followed by a brief refinement in the bottle.
Features
Colour: straw yellow with greenish reflections
perfume: fruity with hints of pear, grapefruit and spices, typical of the Mediterranean.
Taste: full, enlivened by a marked freshness and persistence in the finish. Mineral, dry, it finishes elegantly.
Suggestions
It goes well with fresh fish dishes, shellfish and pasta dishes based on vegetables.
Recommended with: vegetarian dishes, shellifish, crab and lobster, fish.
