Valpolicella Superiore La Bandina 2019
If Amarone is an elaborate and luxurious product, Valpolicella Superiore is the structured red wine of the Veronese tradition. Valpolicella Superiore La Bandina is a modern wine inspired by its territory. The vineyards are located on the hills of Valpolicella at an altitude of 300 m in the municipality of Mezzane. The plants are rooted in the characteristic white calcareous soil with a texture of sand and silt. The yield is 70 q / hectare.
The harvest is manual in October. The crushed grapes ferment in steel vats at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts of organic origin. The wine ages in new French oak barrels for 24 months.
