Sauvignon Friuli DOC 2022 Box da 6 bottiglie
The grapes used for Sauvignon Friuli DOC are grown in sandy-gravel soils and are carefully selected during the harvest. They are destemmed and undergo a soft pressing. Alcoholic fermentation lasts about ten days and vinee carried out in total reduction, at a controlled temperature of 15/17°C.
The wine ages in cement tanks on total lees for nine months, with weekly batonnage until early spring.
Features
Colour: straw yellow.
perfume: exotic fruit, pink grapefruit and tomato leaf, with floral nuances ranging from white rose to wildflower. Peach and ripe apple, with slight hints of mineral, acacia and hawthorn.
Taste: fresh and savory, with a long, slightly bitter finish.
Suggestions
An immediately enjoyable wine and excellent with baked fish or first courses of vegetables and legumes, such as soups and risottos.
Recommended with: vegetarian dishes, shellifish, crab and lobster, fish, fresh cheese.
