Rosso dei Notri 2020

The wine Rosso dei Notri is the most immediate wine of the Tua Rita winery. It is produced with the grapes of the youngest vineyards and represents the starting point to appreciate the successful style of Tua Rita at an affordable price. Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah are grown with high planting density in the village of Suvereto in Val di Cornia on clayey soils with different percentages of stones according to the altitude. It is the area of the metalliferous hills of Tuscany and enjoys a particularly mild climate which favors the ripening of international varieties.

The harvest is manual. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins. The wine also carries out malolactic fermentation and ages in steel a few months before bottling.
