Petra 2019

Petra is a modern winery and its wine are modern as well. Petra is the main wine of the winery, made with the selection of the best grapes from vineyards located in 3 different places in Val di Cornia, with different characteristics. The blend is based on Cabernet sauvignon, like a Pauillac; it aims at beeing a full body and long lived wine. The grapes are harvested by hand and ferment with natural yeasts in oak conic 100hl vats. The wine ages in new and used barriques for 18 months and then in the bottle for 18 more months.
