Puglia Fiano da uve leggermente appassite 2022 Duca di Saragnano
As the label reports, it is an Apulian white wine produced with partially dried Fiano grapes. Fiano is one of the main white grape varieties of southern Italy. It is very ancient and is the basis of many important wines, with a complex and sometimes even evolved taste. In this case, the drying technique is adopted which brings concentration in the grapes and sweetness of flavors. The result is a full-bodied and supple wine, designed for the modern consumer and suitable for pairing with important dishes, not just fish.
The overripe or partially dried grapes are pressed and the free-run must ferments in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature.
