Migliorè 2018
The Migliorè was obtained from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, the vineyards are located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga. The soils are of a calcareous and clayey nature, characterized by the presence of marl and alberese, at an altitude between 370 and 430. The alcoholic fermentation, with maceration of the must in contact with the skins, took place at a controlled temperature for a period 15-20 days. Aging takes place for 24 months in French oak and for 8 months in the bottle.
The Migliorè is a wine of great complexity that does not forget its more 'nervous' nature of Chianti than its companions from Bolgheri, managing to have a dense and dynamic tannic texture thanks to the great saline help of the soils of Castelnuovo.
