This Marsala is made from Grillo and Catarratto grapes.Its vineyards are located in the town of Marsala, in the province of Trapani.

After the grapes were brought to fermentation, cooked must and alcohol were added to the must. The fortified wine was aged for 4 years in oak barrels.

Residual sugar ranged from 40 g/l to 100 g/l.

Features

Colour: deep amber yellow.

perfume: intense, dates, ripe apricot and hints of vanilla.

Taste: intense, soft, velvety and persistent with notes of honey and licorice.

Suggestions

Excellent either served chilled at 8/10 °C, accompanying it with blue cheeses and seasons, or at the end of the meal with dessert.

Recommended with: dry pastries.
