Maremma Toscana Cabernet Botrosecco 2019 (magnum)

Botrosecco is a very successful wine, it expresses the warm and modern style of the Tuscan coast, it combines drinkability and aromatic richness. It is made from the union of the two Cabernets: Cabernet sauvignon and Cabernet franc. The former is more muscular and gives the wine the right structure, while the latter, more elegant, adds grace and finesse. But what contributes most of all to the personality of Botrosecco is the unique character of the Maremma: the mild and dry microclimate and the influence of the sea air, which comes from the Tyrrhenian coast.

The grapes are de-stemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in steel vats at a controlled temperature that does not exceed 25 ° C to preserve aromatic fragrance. Maceration lasts an average of 15 days, during which the cap is gently wet to extract only the best tannins and avoid hard compounds in the wine. The malolactic fermentation is also carried out in steel. At the end the wine ages for a year in barrique in the deepest level of the cellar.
