Les Argiles Blanches 2022 Box da 6 bottiglie
Gruss, a renowned Alsatian producer, vinifies its Pinot Gris Les Argiles Blanches 2022 with great care and respect for the fruit, seeking to preserve the characteristics of the grape variety and terroir as best as possible.
The Pinot Gris grapes are harvested by hand when perfectly ripe, in order to preserve their freshness and aromaticity. The grapes are gently pressed to extract the juice, called must. The must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. During fermentation, the grape's natural sugars are transformed into alcohol and carbon dioxide. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, the wine is drawn off and racked into wooden barrels for maturation. Maturation can last from a few months to a year or more, depending on the style desired by the producer. Once the wine has finished maturing in wood, it is aged in steel for a few months to stabilise and harmonise. Finally, the wine is filtered, bottled and corked.
Gruss limits human intervention in the cellar as much as possible, favouring natural processes that allow the Pinot Gris and its terroir of origin to express their full potential.
The result is an elegant, balanced and mineral white wine that perfectly reflects the characteristics of the grape variety and the Alsatian terroir.
