Legende R Bordeaux Blanc comes from the Entre-deux-Mers region, a unique terroir that gives the grapes distinctive characteristics. The year 2022 was characterised by various climatic extremes, such as frost, hail, drought and heat waves, which occurred with varying intensity from April onwards. It will be remembered as one of the earliest vintages in the last 20 years. Despite this, the harvest produced quality grapes, thanks in part to the abundant water reserves accumulated in 2021.

The early harvest is carried out before dawn to preserve the delicate aromas of the grapes, contributing to a fresh and full-flavoured wine. After the grapes are crushed, cold maceration (4°C) takes place for a few days in order to extract more aromas from the skin contact. The must then ferments at a low temperature (16°C) in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation is not carried out, in order to maintain freshness and acidity. The wine matures on the lees in stainless steel tanks for a few weeks, resulting in more volume and richness in the mouth.
