Lapierre Morgon 2022 Marcel Lapierre
The grape blend is 100 % Gamay, grown in France in the heart of Beaujolais through biodynamic agriculture on sandy soils with granite schists. In Beaujolais, special care has long been taken towards the environment in agricultural practices.
This wine is produced according to the ancestral method and through semi-carbonic maceration. The grapes are harvested by hand, the fermentation, preceded by carbonic maceration, is spontaneous and is carried out in steel tanks, finally the ageing takes place in oak barrels for nine months, no sulphites are added during bottling.
The end result is a very successful wine that succeeds in bringing out all the best characteristics of Gamay, excellent to drink now but with excellent margins for improvement if kept properly in the cellar.
