Laphroaig select is a selection of different single malts produced by the famous distillery, each of which has a different production path, the barrels in which they refine are completely different giving unique characteristics to this bottle.
Sherry Oloroso, American white oak, Quarter cask and first fill ex bourbon barrels, these are the barrels selected to create this selected whiskey.
The result is a great complexity and richness of sip that surprises enthusiasts and amateurs thanks to the great range of details that such a meticulous work gives to the palate.
Features
Colour: bright gold.
perfume: notes of peat, medicinal herbs, citrus peel and coconut.
Taste: in the mouth it is dense and powerful, the classic notes of peat are then dispersed in menthol and citrus notes, closing with sweet spices in a long and complex finish.
Suggestions
We recommend it neat with a glass of water on the side to be able to notice the great work of this distillery without excessively weighing down the palate.
