Laphroaig was founded in 1815 on the Scottish island of Islay and has changed ownership many times over the course of its history. Its products have always been appreciated, to the point that Laphroaig is the only whiskey that can boast the Royal Warrant of the Prince of Wales.
Laphroaig is one of the few Scottish distilleries that takes care of all the processes directly in its own rooms: from the transformation of barley to wood aging. Distillation is always double through traditional copper pot stills.
