Falanghina del Sannio Janare Senete 2023

Behind the production of Falanghina Senete there is the project of identifying the best Cru of Falanghina del Sannio, where this variety is expressed with fuller body and greater complexity. It stands out as one of the most appreciated labels of La Guardiense winery. The vineyards are located at altitudes between 300 and 400 m above sea level, have limestone-clay soil and a limited yield.

The grapes are harvested in the second half of September. They are cooled immediately and undergo a cryomaceration in the absence of oxygen. Then they are pressed and the free-run must ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation and is bottled after a few months of rest in steel on the fine lees.
