The peculiarity of Jacopo Biondi Santi's JeT rosé wine is that it is produced with the Sangiovese BBS11 clone, the one that was selected by Ferruccio Biondi Santi, the father of Brunello di Montalcino, in his Greppo Estate in Montalcino and which gave life to the most authoritative Brunello. Jacopo Biondi Santi - Ferruccio's nephew - planted the same Sangiovese clone in the Montepò estate in the Scansano area in Maremma. The warmer climate of the area determines a different ripening of the grapes, in which the fruity flavors and soft taste are enhanced.

For the production of the rosé wine JeT, the grapes are gently pressed, with very short contact with the skins, and the free-run must ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature. For this reason the wine maintains a particularly light color and a fresh taste.
