De-stemmed marcs from Friulian grapes is carefully selected and left to ferment in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation is followed immediately by distillation to avoid undesired secondary fermentation.
Distillation is discontinuous in special copper steam stills.
Distillation is slow to maintain the organoleptic qualities of the grapes.
The distillate is left to rest for six months in steel containers and then left to mature naturally in barriques and small barrels.
The distillate is bottled without colouring agents.
