Grappa Monovitigno Il Merlot (with own box)
This grappa is obtained from the fermentation of Merlot grapes, grown in vacated areas, and the subsequent distillation of its marc, the skins dehydrated after fermentation.
The distillation is discontinuous with the cutting off of the heads and tails and takes place in special copper steam stills.
This process is slow so that the organoleptic characteristics of the grape variety have the right amount of time to express themselves.
The grappa is ready after 6-12 months of ageing in steel containers.
Merlot is a soft grappa with hints of red berries and rose petals, coming from the distillation of merlot marc.
