Franciacorta Brut Rosé 2018

Castello Bonomi's Franciacorta Rosé is released as a vintage sparkling wine and is a pure Pinot Noir. It has an intense fruity taste and at the same time it is refreshing and supple. Excellent as an aperitif or to be served with appetizers. The grapes are grown on the slopes of Monte Orfano on calcareous soil, very suitable for Pinot Noir. The management of the vineyard is organic and most of the operations are manual. It is produced with great attention to detail and each year reflects the character of the season. 

The grapes are harvested by hand. They are left in the press for a few hours in order to facilitate the extraction of the color from the peel. From the pressure derives a freshly dyed pink must. This ferments in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the traditional method and the sparkling wine ages for 3 years on the lees.
