The Finca Montico Rueda DO wine, produced by the renowned Bodega Marqués de Riscal, is made exclusively from Verdejo grapes from a vineyard with vines over 40 years old, cultivated on terraces overlooking the banks of the River Duero. The limited yield of around 5,000 kilos per hectare ensures maximum concentration of aromas and flavours.

Harvesting is done manually, with meticulous care in the selection of the grapes, which are harvested in crates of 20 kilos each. In the cellar, the grapes undergo a cooling process before being subjected to a double manual selection, ensuring only the best berries for wine production.

Once gently pressed, the grapes release a first-class juice, which is fermented only with indigenous yeasts. This method, combined with ageing on the lees for at least four months, gives the wine extraordinary complexity and a unique aromatic profile.

Finca Montico is distinguished by its freshness and youthfulness, while maintaining the varietal typicality of Verdejo.
