Sauvignon Blanc Mamarì 2022
Mamarì is a pure Sauvignon blanc grown on the Sicilian hills of Marsala. Sauvignon blanc is a great grape variety that easily adapts to different climatic and territorial conditions. It responds differently every time, interpreting the production area, but its identity is always recognizable. This is why it is so loved.
It is grown in high hills, over 500 m, with low yields. The grapes harvested in August ferment in steel vats at a controlled temperature. No wood aging.
Features
Colour: pale straw yellow tending to greenish.
perfume: elderberry, hawthorn, tomato leaf, green grass, passion fruit, pineapple, gooseberry.
Taste: lean, firm and sharp with excellent saline sensation.
Suggestions
It is enjoyed young, chilled, in medium-sized glasses. It is an ideal companion to sushi and sashimi, but also try it with an asparagus omelette.
Recommended with: sushi and raw fish, vegetarian dishes, shellifish, crab and lobster, fish.
