Extra Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine Perlinetto 2016

Perlinetto is a sparkling wine produced following the traditional method with Pinot Noir grown on the Chianti hills. Vallepicciola winery is located in the south of the Chianti Classico area, more precisely it is based in the Vagliagli area within the township of Castelnuovo Berardenga. Here, in addition to the great Sangiovese, there are also non-native vine varieties such as Pinot Noir, that makes up this complex and multi-layered sparkling wine. The vineyards extend at an altitude of 380-420 meters, in optimal conditions to ensure a lasting freshness for this sparkling wine.

The grapes undergo a soft pressing. The pale pink free-run must ferments in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature to create the base wine. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to traditional method and the sparkling wine ages on its own lees for 48-50 months.
