Marqués de Cáceres Excellens Rosé is the result of a careful and meticulous selection of Tempranillo and Garnacha vines from the highest slopes of the village of Rioja Alta. The red Garnacha, cultivated on the sunny slopes, lends finesse to the wine, while the Tempranillo, grown in cooler areas, adds complexity.

The predominantly clay-limestone soil gives the wine a unique character. After gentle cold maceration, the pale-coloured musts ferment together at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, preserving freshness and vitality.
