Etna Bianco 2022
Murgo’s Etna Bianco comes from various plots of vineyards on the eastern slopes of the Etna volcano with predominantly alluvial soil. To obtain a balanced and immediate wine, Murgo combines the Carricante grapes, typical of Etna, witg a part of Catarratto, that is widespread throughout Sicily. Carricante has high level of acidity, while Catarratto is more fleshy and structured. With a careful and simple vinification Murgo aims at bringing the fragrance of the Etna territory into the glass.
The yield in the vineyards is low, the harvest is manual. The free-run must ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature. No wood aging.
