The Crianza wine of Cantina Marques de Caceres is an excellence of the Spanish winemaking tradition, made from a careful selection of Tempranillo and other varieties from small plots between Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. The grapes are harvested by hand from old, low-yielding vineyards. After destemming, they ferment in stainless steel tanks to extract colour, aromas and density through prolonged maceration for up to 20 days.

Malolactic fermentation takes place in new barrels and stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine rests for at least 12 months in mixed French and American oak barrels, ensuring balanced ageing. Before being put on the market, the Crianza wine matures in the bottle for at least one year in the cellar, allowing a full expression of its character.
