Coevo 2013
Coevo is a modern wine produced by combining not only local and international varieties, but also grapes from two different regions of Tuscany. In fact Sangiovese and Cabernet sauvignon come from the vineyards in Castellina in Chianti, while Merlot and Petit verdot come from vineyards in Maremma. The idea behind this wine is the search for a contemporary taste that can represent the winery. Therefore, both territories in which the company has its own vineyards are used; among the varieties Sangiovese represents the link with tradition while the international varieties look forward and beyond the borders. The production is committed to quality criteria for each grape variety. The wine ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature with two weeks of skin contact. It ages for 18 months in barrique and tonneau.
