The Cecchi family has been protagonist of the fame and success of Tuscan wine worldwide. Their Chianti Classico speaks for itself. The year of its foundation was 1893 when Luigi Cecchi started selling wine in flasks with his name.
Luigi only had a warehouse in Poggibonsi where he bottled wines that he personally selected in the neighboring vineyards, mainly in Castellina in Chianti. Cecchi became a well known brand and for a long time it has been among the most popular wine producers of Tuscan wine in Italy and abroad.
Today Cecchi is a giant of Italian wine. Cecchi continues to select wines to be bottled, but also manages 379 hectors of vineyards and produces important wines with proprietary grapes. Cecchi can boast a diversified product portfolio in which there are wines for all budgets and for all occasions: everyday wines and fine wines.
