Château Bonnet Rouge Reserve is an authentic expression of the Bordeaux tradition. Made by André Lurton from a blend of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), this wine embodies the perfect balance between full-bodied richness and refined elegance.
2018 was an exceptional vintage for Bordeaux: with high temperatures and plenty of sunshine, the grapes thrived, despite heavy rains followed by near-record droughts.
The vinification process takes place in stainless steel tanks with a patented cap breaking system, ensuring optimal extraction of aromas and flavours. This is followed by 12 months of ageing in oak barrels, with 20% new wood, enhancing the depth and complexity.
