Champagne Brut Grand Cru
Produced entirely with grapes from the Grand Cru village of Bouzy, this non-vintage Champagne perfectly represents the style of Georges Vesselles; it is based on the strength of Pinot Noir. In addition to the structure, from the Pinot Noir it also takes aromas and acidity. 10% Chardonnay adds a touch of finesse. The use of wines from 2 or 3 previous vintages in the cuvée contributes to the complexity of the taste, which is vertical and linear but by no means trivial. It is especially recommended as an aperitif but can also be paired with cooked fish or seafood dishes or with finger food during a party.
The grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed separately by variety. The alcoholic fermentation of the base wines takes place in steel vats at a controlled temperature. After the creation of the cuvée, sugars and yeasts are added for the second fermentation in the bottle according to the traditional method. The champagne then ages in contact with the lees for almost 2 years.
