The Veuve Clicquot yellow label is the best-selling Champagne in the US and is also very popular in Italy. The style of the Champagne is linked to the strength of Pinot Noir, which makes up at least half of the blend. The percentages vary every year based on the weather conditions.
The blend of the cuvée includes wines from over 50 different vineyards and a good portion of vin de réserve from different vintages, some even aged over 10 years.

Suggestions
It can be uncorked as an aperitif but its solidity makes it designed for food. A pairing idea: gnocchi with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
