Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2014
Encry selects the grapes from the best vineyards, from well-identified individual plots to produce each year the most representative Champagne of the vintage and above all of the territory of Le Mesnil sur Oger in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. The 2014 vintage began cool and rainy, but the sunny days of September allowed the grapes to ripen perfectly and produce intense and tasty wines. The excellent acidity in the base wines made it possible to prolong the aging on the lees to obtain a complex and evolved taste.
Chardonnay grapes are gently pressed. The free-run must ferments and matures only in steel vats at a controlled temperature. After the creation of the cuvée, the champagne ages on the lees in the bottle for at least 60 months.
