Cannonau di Sardegna Costera 2021
Cannonau is the best known and most grown red grape in Sardinia and is very versatile in winemaking. Costera is a modern, balanced and round Cannonau di Sardegna DOC, easy to drink, designed for cheerful moments, with family or friends. The Cannonau grapes along with small parts of Carignano and Bovale come from two distinct estates in southern Sardinia, where the warm climate is mitigated by sea breezes.
The grapes ferment in steel at a controlled temperature with maceration in contact with the skins for 10-12 days. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in concrete tanks and finally the wine ages in French oak barrels for 8-10 months.

Taste: medium body, well-balanced, round with soft tannins.
Suggestions
Serve it in medium sized glasses. It can be paired with pasta with meat sauce. We recommend it also with hamburger.
