Campo Alla Giostra 2019 Bolgheri Cabernet DOC

The blend of this wine Is based on 100% cabernet Sauvignon. The grape variety Is located in the prestigious production area of DOC Bolgheri on a flat and sandy soil, with a yield of about 70%. The harvest took place at the end of September when the grapes were fully ripe. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation took place immediately after. Aging was 18 months in barrique (French oak) and 6 months in bottle. Small curiosity about the name (Campo alla giostra"dei cavalli"), which was chosen to commemorate the 20th birthday of Varenne, born in 1995, who was raised by Dubois in the estate's stables.
