Brut Extra Premier Cru

Pierre Gimonnet's Champagne Brut Extra is the new, purer version of Cuis' excellent Blanc de Blancs. Using 100% Chardonnay grapes from Premier Cru vineyards, this cuvée consists of a blend of 70% 2017 grapes with 30% grapes from the previous six vintages. After blending, the wine is aged for 6 to 8 months in the bottle and undergoes a light cold stabilisation. Subsequently, the liquid is filtered through clay, creating a pure and natural Champagne Blanc de Blancs.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation. This cuvée is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from the Premier Cru vineyards on the famous Côte des Blancs, the most renowned area in the entire Champagne region.
