Brumoso is a sparkling white wine produced by Il Poderone, a cooperative winery located in Magliano in Tuscany, Italy. It is made from 100% Vermentino grapes from a single vineyard. The Vermentino grapes are harvested by hand at the right degree of ripeness, followed by a soft pressing to gently extract the must from the skins.
The must is cold clarified to stabilise it and preserve its freshness.primary fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel.
Secondary fermentation in the bottle takes place at a low temperature, according to the Ancestral Method.
During this phase, the wine develops its characteristic fine and persistent mousse.
The Brumoso matures on the lees for a variable period, which can give the wine greater complexity and harmony.
The result is a fresh, tasty and drinkable sparkling Vermentino, with a fine and persistent bubble
