Nanuci 2021 Box da 6 bottiglie

Nanuci is a wine made solely from Nocera grapes, an indigenous Sicilian vine that is rarely found vinified in purity. The vines are grown according to an espalier and alberello system, in a clay soil type. Harvesting begins in the third week of September, followed by vinification in truncated conical steel vats with repeated daily punching-down for a month.

The skins are then pressed and the wine is left to mature on the lees for about three months. It then matures for 16 months in large French oak barrels, followed by three months in cement. Finally, after bottling, the wine matures for a further six months in the bottle before being put on the market.
