Ribolla Gialla Iside 2022

Iside is the name of a white wine made from 100% Ribolla gialla, grown in the Friuli plain. The territory of alluvial origin has always been exploited for the production of quality wines. The Ribolla gialla is a native vine variety of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, which Paladin vinifies with techniques such as partial maceration and a prolonged stop on the lees, in order to obtain a round and balanced wine, which stands out from the more subtle and fresh versions of this grape variety.

The grapes are harvested in early September. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature initially in the presence of the skins. After a while the must is separated from the skins and fermentation continues. Finally, the wine ages for several months in steel in contact with its own lees.
