Bianco Mediterraneo 2018
Bianco Mediterraneo was born in Capoliveri, on the Island of Elba in Tuscany, from 90% Vermentino and 10% Fiano grapes.
The soil of the vineyards consists of metamorphic granite, rich in iron minerals.
The grapes are harvested manually with careful selection. The bunches are promptly brought to the cellar and subjected to soft pressing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 18-20°. After fermentation, the wine is left on the noble lees for a few months before bottling and ageing in the bottle.
The nose shows clear notes of fresh fruit, peach, as well as citrusy hints of orange and mandarin.
On the palate it is fresh and mineral with an almondy finish that closes the sip cleanly.
