Bertani Ripasso Valpantena 2020
Bertani Ripasso Valpantena 2020 is composed of 85 % Corvina veronese, 10 % Merlot and 5 % Rondinella.
Its vines are located in the Veneto region, more precisely in Valpantena, a soil that is marly-calcareous, clayey and basaltic.
This wine is produced using the ripasso technique, letting it ferment with the skins of the Amarone between January and February, then it is left to mature in cement tanks and slowly in wooden barrels for just under 12 months, finally it is refined for 3 months in the bottle.
When put on the market, this wine is full-bodied and savoury on the palate, with pleasant notes of fruit, underbrush, spices and chocolate and a lingering finish of ripe fruit.
