Belnero Banfi 2019
Belnero is a Tuscan red wine produced by Banfi in the largest estate in Montalcino. Belnero wine in particular is a blend of Sangiovese and international varieties; Sangiovese is the main component and it is the same of Brunello di Montalcino. It is combined with Cabernet and Merlot to obtain a wine with a modern, round taste, easily appreciated by everyone, very versatile in occasions of consumption. It has structure almost like a Brunello, but it is softer and more gentle, easy to drink even in youth.
The grapes ferment in Banfi patented vats, called Horizon, made up of oak staves and steel staves. The wine also carries out malolactic fermentation and ages for over a year in barriques and large barrels. A further aging in the bottle follows before being put on the market.

Colour: deep ruby red.
perfume: jam, plum, vanilla, coffee, tobacco.
Taste: dry, bold, velvety, well-balanced, sweet tannins, long savory finish.
Suggestions
It is an excellent conversation wine, which can be enjoyed with or without food. In our opinion it is ideal for a party or to pair with grilled meat.
Recommended with: roasts, meat sauce pasta.
