Bardolino Chiaretto Corte Giara 2021
Bardolino Chiaretto from Allegrini's Corte Giara line is a traditional rosé designed for daily consumption. It is light and smooth, delicate but has intense fruity flavors. It is produced with native black berried grapes of the province of Verona: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. Grown on the morainic soil of the first hills on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, these grapes give light and fragrant wines that are highly appreciated. They are the famous Bardolino wines and the pink version is one of the highest expressions of the appellation. Chiaretto is the name by which the rosé wines around Lake Garda are called.
The grapes are harvested by hand at the beginning of September and after being de-stemmed they undergo a cryo-maceration with the skins for a maximum of 24 hours. At the end they are pressed and the must carries out the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine ages for a few months in steel before being bottled.
