Astoria Kalibro Cuvée Brut Metodo Cavazzani
It comes from 80% Chardonnay grapes and 20% from Pinot Noir grapes from the Val de Brun Estate. The use of the Cavazzani Lungo Method, exclusive to Astoria and which takes its name from the oenologist Nereo Cavazzani, consists in the second fermentation of the base wine in an autoclave at a low temperature (14/16° C) for about 45/50 days and then storage on its lees at 6/8° for 12 months. The permanence in the bottle for 12 months builds its lively character which combines spicy, tobacco and almond sensations in a harmonious whole. Dry, with good warmth and valid harmony, it excels in minerality and acidity.
