Alto Adige Valle Isarco Gewürztraminer 2022
The Gewürztraminer vine variety takes its name from the village of Termeno south of Bolano: literally it is the “spicy grape variety of Termeno”. In the Isarco Valley the grapes are grown on gravelly soils, rich in minerals, at 450-750 meters above sea level. The grapes ripen concentrating many sugars and many aromatic compounds; consequently the wines are always full bodied with strong aromas. It is an unmistakable wine.
The grapes ripen thanks to many hours of sunshine and strong temperature variations between night and day. The alcoholic fermentation of the free-run must takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation and remains in steel until bottling.

Colour: deep straw yellow.
perfume: pronounced, tropical fruit, white rose petals.
Taste: full body, supple, balalnced.
Suggestions
Serve it in medium sized wine glasses. It can be paired with spicy snacks or a meals with spicy food like safran risotto.
Recommended with: mushrooms, truffles, vegetarian dishes, shellifish, crab and lobster, fish.
