Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Nussbaumer 2021
Nussbaumer is one of the most prestigious labels of the Tramin winery and is one of the finest wines from Gewürztraminer produced in Italy. Tramin chooses the best grapes from hilly vineyards between 350 and 550 m above sea level. The soil is composed of clay, limestone and gravel and porphyry is found deep inside. The climate is characterized by strong temperature variations between night and day that fix the aromas of the grapes.
The grapes are harvested by hand when they are perfectly ripe between the end of September and the end of October. In the cellar they are pressed and left to macerate with the skins for a few hours, after which they are pressed and only the freerun must ferments in small steel vats at a constant controlled temperature. The wine ages in steel on the lees for 8-9 months and for 3 more months in the bottle.

Colour: bright golden yellow.
perfume: exuberant with rose petals, lime, melon, mango, passion fruit, lemon peel; abundant spicy sensations and aromatic herbs.
Taste: sumptuous, solid, juicy, mineral, very lingering.
Suggestions
It is served in large goblets and can be paired with elaborate dishes of white meat or fish. Try it with sweet and sour pork.
Recommended with: pork, mushrooms, truffles, fish.
