Tramin is one of the excellences of South Tyrol, one of the wineries that know how to cooperate at high levels. This is the cooperative winery of Termeno (Tramin), located in a building of modern architecture from which you can see all the vineyards of the Adige valley.
The winery has 300 contributing members in the areas of Termeno, Egna, Ora and Montagna. It has collected a long series of awards from the most prestigious Italian and international wine magazines. The range of wines is wide from the classic monovarietals, to single vineyard wines, to labels produced in a limited number of bottles of very high value.
The flagship of the winery is the Gewürztraminer grape variety. Their 2009 Epokale wine (original version of Gewürztraminer) has been the first Italian white wine to score 100 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
In all, it manages 270 hectares of vineyards and produces about 1,800,000 bottles every year.
