Alta Langa Rosato Extra Brut Cuvée Aurora 2019

Banfi’s Cuvée Aurora Rosé is a refined vintage traditional method sparkling wine produced in Piedmont. It is obtained with only Pinot Nero grown on the hills of the Alta Langa which since 2008 have enjoyed the DOCG level for the production of well structured traditional method sparkling wines made only in the vintage version. In fact the limestone dominated soil favors body in the wines and the cool climatic conditions favor the high level of acidity which is important for sparkling wine making. The base wine is produced with a fermentation in steel vats at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the traditional method and the sparkling wine ages on the lees for at least 30 months.
